In the modern world of today's age if we think about the perfect marketing technique then designing banner ads by using websites is very good. A banner ad is an image placed on the page of a website for showing a particular brand. These images are linked to the site of the advertiser.

You have to carefully apply the guidelines of basic design for creating ads effectively and systematically. Correctly place your banner ads

For placing this ad on the web page’s main description you have to buy some free space on the website.

Hierarchy should be maintained

inside every ad there is a perfect balance. The website traffic and awareness about the brand will be increased if we design the ads effectively. There are basically 3 components of banner ads:

(a)Logo of your company- For creating awareness about your brand the logo of your company is necessary. The logo must be like it is impressive and customers are attracted to it. But it should not give full details about your company.

(b)Proposition of value- It includes some nice offerings like “Limited period offer”, “30 % off”, “Best quality”, so that the user focuses his attention towards your ad. The customer’s eyes should see it first and for that it should occupy the maximum space in the banner ad.

(c)A button for call to action- The customers can click on a button or a text for call to action. The text written on the button can be “Watch Now” or “Get Started” or “Learn More”. The ad should contain the call to action button at its centre.

It should be present in simple form

The ad should have simple visuals and simple content. It takes only one second for a customer to look at your ad. So, it should be like that the user can easily understand it. You can use a gray border of 1 pixel for a white colored ad.
Text should be readable immediately
Use different sizes of description and headline. Content should be of 4 lines maximum. Less than 10 pt font size should not be used. Content should not be present in uppercase letters and its font should not be thin. Don’t use scripted
Animation should be used
If we talk about banner ads then ads using animation are better then static ads. Animation can be used in designing very good ads for a website. But it doesn’t mean that the message of the ad is not clear. The animated ads must be clearly understood by the audience. For this use animations that are simple and short and they should play for 15-20 seconds only. Also, they should not repeat more than 3 times. The last animated frame must attract the customers immediately.

It should always show your brand

Your landing page should match with the banner ad and it must contain the brand’s description. Therefore, the customers will look at it without any confusion.

It should show a sense of urgency

Use bold colors, contrasting text to show the urgency visually. Never use subtle banner ads.

Better use of images

Use those photos and graphics that clearly show what you are trying to sell. It should give a description about the items of your company.
