Join The Revolution - Become A Remote Work Expert

“A Decade ago, The remote employment basically meant a telemarketing or customer service position at a below minimum wage rate,” said Samantha Lambert, director of human resources at website design company Blue Fountain Media. "It rarely was connected with a full-time career. Now, technology affords us the ability to get the same job done, no matter where in the world we are. It has enabled us to get in contact with colleagues or clients at any time."

But if you do a quick Google search, you’d find out that remote workers are actually more productive, and have higher job satisfaction than the traditional office workers.

It’s not magic or a mystery. Shorter commutes, flexible work hours, and personal office spaces lead to higher productivity in employees. If you put yourself in the same shoes, you’d realize that even you would prefer 30 extra minutes to enjoy your breakfast rather than 30 minutes of being stuck in traffic.

The Remote Work Summit 2019

In the coming time, most of the jobs & companies will go remote. Hiring, on-boarding, company culture & entire operations will be a part of the virtual world. As we reach closer to the future of work, it is essential for all of us to understand the remote work environment in depth, not just as an organization but also as employees seeking flexible opportunities.

With the same idea, I started The Remote Work Summit. A platform where people could learn about remote work and what it’s really like to work remotely. Because there is more to it than working in your PJs or sitting with a laptop in your favorite coffee shop!

The Remote Work Summit is an initiative to bring together remote industry experts from all over the world at one platform to talk about the challenges & frameworks to build effective remote teams, organizations & careers.

The Remote Work Summit 2018 witnessed an audience of over 6000 and had speakers from organizations like Microsoft, Trello, Zapier, and many more remote organizations.

Following the success of The Remote Work Summit 2018, it only made sense to have a second summit this year.

Agenda

For every organization, it is important to have set guidelines and standards for efficiently working with remote teams. Not to forget hiring the right employees and creating a virtual culture. Whereas, for individuals, it is important to understand the transition to a remote environment and be able to collaborate well with a team spread across different time zones.

The Remote Work Summit 2019 covers every aspect of working in a remote environment as an organization and as an individual including -

  • Remote Hiring & Onboarding
  • Securing remote jobs
  • Creating culture within remote teams
  • Smooth transition to remote work
  • Remote team management
  • Maintaining a work-life balance
  • Remote collaboration & communication

The Summit will be a three-day event happening between 16th-18th April 2019. And the best part?

You can attend from anywhere in the world. You don’t need to book an expensive flight ticket or pay a huge amount to watch industry experts help you get where you want to get. The summit is absolutely free to attend. All you need to do is sign up on our website.

Keeping in mind, that not everybody’s schedule is the same as mine, I would suggest you get the Premium Pass for RWS19 to get lifetime on-demand access to all interviews.

Live Q/A

I have attended various summits on remote work but none of them really allowed us to have a real-time conversation with the speakers. Unless of course, it wasn’t a virtual conference.

Which eventually lead me to the idea of a live Q&A as well as a networking session.

I understand that some questions might still be left unanswered during the interviews. Our audience can take the opportunity at the live Q&A to resolve all their problems and doubts about remote work.
